Le Voyageur Signature I 8.0 CF Review

Built by Le Voyageur, the Signature is meant to bridge the gap between the liner class motorhomes and the Fiat-based motorhomes. The Le Voyageur Signature I 8.0 CF is an A-Class motorhome a range of quality kits. How will the motorhome fare against our expectations? Let’s find out!

Base vehicle

The base vehicle is a Mercedes Sprinter with a length of 8.05m and width of 2.24m. The Mercedes Sprinter comes with a 3-litre Turbo Diesel engine with an option of 8-speed automatic gearbox. The base vehicle is rear-wheel drive, with the chassis based on Iveco Daily. Just like every A-class model, the 8.0 CF has state-of-the-art captain seats, air-con, multi-function steering wheel, cab door, legible dashboard, and more.

Interiors

The 8.0 CF has enough space for six to seven people to be comfortable thanks to the lounge’s inward-facing, twin sofas and rotatable cab seats. The lounge area has a huge fixed table with a foldable top-half. One of the legs of the table has a mini wine cellar. Just above the cab, there is a drop-down bed. When combined with the island double bed, making the motorhome a comfortable four-berth. Just next to the door of the motorhome, there are sliding panels, beneath which there is a TV.

The décor of the Le Voyageur Signature I 8.0 CF is magnificent. At first glance, the upholstery looks like it is leather. However, the actual material is a synthetic alternative, and it feels just like leather. As the synthetic alternative can be wiped clean, it is easy to remove red wine and other beverages from the material. The manufacturers partnered the upholstery with white and lush wood tones. Everything in the kitchen, including the appliances, also has a minimalistic theme. The sink is flush-fit, with a plate draining rack, built-in below the lid. The motorhome has a built-in, 12-volts, compressor cooled, 173-litre refrigerator which hides behind the cabinet.

Just above the fridge, there is a large locker, and opposite the kitchen, there are cupboards, drawers, a pull-out unit and larder. As a result of this, there is plenty of space in the Le Voyageur Signature I 8.0 CF.

The bathroom is also spacious as there is plenty of room in the shower. There is a ceramic bowl Thetford loo, a vessel-like washbasin, a designer tap, and a large mirror. There is plenty of storage in the bathroom. The fresh water capacity of the motorhome is 200 litres, while that of the wastewater is 120 litres.

The bedroom has a huge bed, with enough space for people to sit up comfortably. The bedroom has mood lighting to light up the headboard and the wardrobe. You can control the motorhome using your smartphone if you opt for a Wi-Fi system.

Verdict

Overall, the Le Voyageur Signature I 8.0 CF is a really good motorhome. The motorhome is spacious, thanks to the travel seats which pop-up. Although the fixed table is obstructive, the motorhome can fit four people comfortably in the lounge. The Le Voyageur Signature I 8.0 CF can be purchased for £134,230.
